Who we are
HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM
We’re a Japanese–European team based in the U.S., working together as a couple — both in life and in how we approach our work.
Coming from different backgrounds gives us a wider perspective — not just visually, but in how we read people and situations.
We don’t expect you to know what to do in front of the camera.
Every couple is different — some are naturally relaxed, others need more direction, and that’s completely normal.
We pay attention, adjust, and guide when needed — so you’re not left guessing, but also not over-directed.
We met in New York City and later chose to elope ourselves in Colorado.
That experience shaped how we approach smaller weddings and elopements — with a clearer understanding of what actually matters in those moments, beyond just how everything looks.
WHAT SETS US APART
We don’t follow a fixed style or repeat the same approach from one couple to another.
Instead, we focus on reading the situation — the energy, the pace, the people — and adjusting in real time.
That’s what allows the work to stay consistent in quality, without feeling repetitive or forced.
Two perspectives. One shared instinct.
KSENIA
Ksenia has a background in visual arts and studied photography at EFTI in Madrid, Spain.
She started in 2018, originally working in fashion and editorial — which still influences how she sees light, composition, and detail.
Since then, she has photographed weddings and couples across different settings, locations, and types of celebrations, developing an approach that balances clear direction with an awareness of what’s already working.
She knows when to step in and lead, and when to hold back — allowing moments to stay natural while still maintaining structure and intention.
FUMI
Fumi has over a decade of experience as a dance artist and works professionally in theatre production – bringing both a sensitivity to movement and a strong understanding of structure into how he approaches film. He focuses on short cinematic films – a minimal, intentional format designed to complement photography, rather than replace it.
His work is built around movement, timing, and attention to detail – noticing subtle transitions and how moments come together in real time.
Working with Ksenia, he adjusts to each situation – staying unobtrusive when needed, and stepping in when it adds to the moment.
Guided when needed. Observed when not.
From the first message to the final delivery, the process is clear and structured — so you always know what’s happening, and don’t have to figure things out on your own.
